Its December of 2020, I've just returned back home from my wild mission to explore all the African countries. That's when I see a call for auditions. I could not hold back my excitement! Hub TV was launching a reality TV show and I knew I wanted to be on it. After all the Show was perfectly named for me, House of Fame, or House of Tumo as I called it in my Audition video. Adiva is a name that my mom made up and later it turned out to be Gentle in Arabic.

The auditions saw a thousand people send in their videos in the hopes of being one of the 12 residents of the House of Fame. As luck would have it, I was one of those 12 shortlisted to be part of the first reality Show of its Kind in Botswana. I managed to gather support from my friends and family to get votes, and man, did they pull through for me. After a few weeks of voting, I was contacted to prepare for the House of Fame show to start.
Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 delays, the show had to be postponed a couple of times. First from February to March, then March to May, and later May to just radio silence. Luckily, towards the end of 2021, there was contact, the email subject just read "Re On" and I knew it was about to get lit. That December, I was working on plans to explore Namibia and Lesotho between February and July. I had to delay my travel plans as the show was scheduled to air from the 6th of March.
Through out all the delays and postponement I was called in for video and photoshoots for the show and I got to say I enjoyed that a lot. Once the show started I knew it was time to shine. I am not going to get into the details of the show, you can click on the links below to learn more about the show. Tell me what you think and lets have a laugh about it all.
I will explain later how it feels to win P100,000 cash! And all the adventures that follow after all the excitement and fanfare have settled a bit.
